As a member of the team for more than 16 years, Michael Ellis has always done whatever is needed to make Lehman-Roberts, a Granite Company successful. Throughout his years, Michael has served in several leadership roles within the construction and road work division. Thus, we are thrilled to announce a new title in his journey – Michael will now serve as Vice President of Project Management.
Having also recently served as President of the Mississippi Asphalt Pavement Association, it comes as no surprise that Michael has an incredible understanding of the local and regional industry that is equally matched by his commitment to the people of Lehman-Roberts and sister company Memphis Stone & Gravel.
“Michael’s unwavering dedication to the prosperity of the company has been deeply evident throughout his tenure,” said Pat Nelson, President. “As he steps into his new role, we eagerly anticipate his continued leadership and the positive impact he will undoubtedly bring to the project management team and overall organization.”
As VP of Project Management, Michael will preserve a culture of total project ownership, exhibition of core values, stewardship in the community, and continuation of safety excellence within the project management (PM) department. This includes management of all aspects of the PM team including strategic bidding, maintaining a healthy backlog, project coordination, and more.
Jeremy Ramberg, VP of Construction, commended Michael by remarking, “Michael has always been an advocate for quality – that is, the craftsmanship displayed through our projects and the core values exhibited within our culture.”
He added, “These traits, along with many more, made him the perfect fit for this role. We look forward to watching Michael continue to lead well.”
