Announcing Fall 2024 Promotions

Jeremy Ramberg Promoted to VP of Lehman-Roberts

In this role, Jeremy will oversee Lehman-Roberts’ day-to-day operations, which include the project management team, logistics personnel, asset management, and asphalt production plants.

He will continue to report to Pat Nelson, President of Lehman-Roberts. During his time with the team, Jeremy has championed several initiatives that benefit our people, including our safety culture and flow of operations.

Pat added, “Jeremy’s commitment to our culture is extremely evident. He exemplifies servant leadership, uplifts others, and prioritizes safety. All in all, the future for Lehman-Roberts is very bright as he leads on the road ahead.”

Don Fletcher Promoted to VP of Manufacturing and Quality Control

In this role, Don will oversee the departments of asphalt production, maintenance, sales, and quality control. Don will report to Jeremy Ramberg.

“Don’s unwavering work ethic and the deep trust he’s earned across our organization make him the ideal choice for this position,” said Jeremy. “I have no doubt that his passion and dedication will drive remarkable results, and I look forward to seeing him thrive in this next chapter.”

As he prepares for retirement, the departing VP of Manufacturing, John Paul Finerson, added, “This role will be left in good hands. Don’s time as Paving Superintendent and QC Director have put him in a great position to succeed. He has certainly earned this promotion through his many years of hard work and field experience.”

Cory Collins Promoted to Director of Quality Control

In this role, Cory will serve as a leader for the quality control division, maintaining strong relationships with customers and overseeing the day-to-day influx of materials throughout our facilities. Cory will continue to report to Don Fletcher.

In his 19 years with the company, Cory has excelled in an array of positions within the quality control department before being promoted to his most recent role of QC Manager of Outgoing Materials.

Don Fletcher praised Cory: “Congratulations to Cory on this promotion to Director of Quality Control. He is unwavering in his commitment to quality and fairness. Cory’s strong relationships with our team members and prior experience with our customers position him as a key problem-solver for the future.”

Johnny Houston Promoted to QC Manager, Outgoing Materials

In this role, Johnny will oversee the quality of materials as they leave our asphalt plants. He will report to Cory Collins.

Throughout his 26-year tenure with Lehman-Roberts, Johnny has been jokingly titled “the wizard” for his demonstrated mastery of several aspects of quality control. In fact, Johnny is consistently seen passing his wisdom down to the next generation through training and even community field trips.

Don Fletcher shared, “Johnny is an exceptional company steward, consistently focused on creating value by optimizing our asphalt mixes and maximizing the efficient use of equipment and time. His dedication and expertise make him an invaluable resource, as we are confident he will drive further improvements in our lab operations.”

Billy Jones Promoted to Lead Project Manager, Special Projects

In this role, Billy will be primarily focused on design-build and construction manager general contractor (CMGC) jobs. He will still report to Michael Ellis, VP of Project Management. 

Those who know Billy can attest to his wealth of knowledge in the asphalt, concrete, and other industries. His versatile experience made him the perfect choice for this role.

Michael shared, “Billy represents our core value of relationships. He is such a valuable resource who can connect people and resolve project challenges. He’s extremely passionate about our industry. That shows every day in his work and his conversations. You can really see the sense of pride Billy has to be part of something bigger than himself.”

Maria Bennett Promoted to Contract and Cost Control Analyst

In this role, Maria will play a crucial role in supporting project managers by analyzing cost performance data and developing effective cost control strategies. She will report to Michael Frizzell, Lead Project Manager.

Michael Ellis, VP of Project Management, shared, “In Maria’s prior role as Contract Administrator, she really improved that role from A to Z. Her focus on continuous improvement will pay huge dividends in this new position. She has a talent for connecting with people immediately.”

Michael Frizzell added, “Maria’s attention to detail and pride in her work has set her as a cornerstone of our day-to-day operations within the project management team. As she transitions into this new role, I know that she will continue to show just how valuable she is.”
