With operations stretching across the vast Mid-South, the man-hours we spend each day on the job can quickly add up. Even more important is ensuring that these hours are spent by teammates who are working as safely as possible.
We’re thrilled to announce another milestone in our never-ending journey for safety excellence. Why do we emphasize that this journey is never-ending? Because we hold firm to the belief that even “best in class” can always be improved upon.
Lehman-Roberts Co. was awarded an Annual Safety Award within the Gold Level for 206,343 man-hours worked across paving crews operating in Tennessee. The award was presented by the Tennessee Road Builders Association (TRBA) and recognizes work completed throughout the 2020 calendar year.
“Just for our crews to work that many hours with this kind of safety score is pretty remarkable,” shared Jim Whitten, Administrative Manager who often partners with our Safety Team. “It took everyone to make it happen. It was the dedication of every person in the field.”
We’d like to express our deep thanks to the crews who keep our safety culture on the course to greatness.
